COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT (30 SEATS)
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is an integral part of Shri Bhawani Niketan Institute of Technology and Management, Jaipur which aims at bringing out the technical and inherent talents of the young and budding Engineers. The Department was established in the academic year 2009 offering a 4 year B.Tech Degree Program admitted through the single window Admission procedure of Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota.
Department of Computer Science & Engineering take special efforts to create learning environment for students by focusing on conceptual understanding of core domain area in Computing, programming skills, Hardware and disseminating their analytical abilities. The faculties of department are well qualified and have rich knowledge in their subjects. Faculties regularly update their knowledge and skills through participation in various staff development program, writing research papers, conducting workshops on various current technologies.
Apart from the university curriculum we have created an informal learning environment where we organize guest lecturers by inviting eminent persons from industry and institutions in the emerging areas. We also encourage the students to participate in the technical symposium and techno fest. Summer and winter vocations training are useful to our students as we conduct short term courses in the emerging areas and arrange for the industrial training. We attract some of the brightest students and faculty. We invite you to join us in the excitement which we call as learning through real time and with best mind minds.
The department strongly believes in industrial collaboration so that resources could be used to quench the quest of students and academic excellence could be instilled in our students for global competitiveness. Our institute-industry interface program enables the students to interact constantly with the industries.
Different Roles
Software Developers:
Software developers are professionals who are concerned with facets of the software development process which involves activities such as design and coding, computer programming, project management, etc.
Hardware Engineers:
These professionals do research, design, develop, test, and oversee the installation of computer hardware which inter alia includes computer chips, circuit boards, systems, modems, keyboards, and printers.
System Designer:
Professionals involved in system designing, Logical & Physical Designing wherein logical designing can be enumerated as the structure & characteristics such as output, input, files, database & procedures, etc.
System Analyst:
Computer engineers who work as systems analyst do research about the existing problems and plan solutions for the problem. They also recommend software and system related problems and coordinate development between business development teams.
Networking Engineers:
Networking engineers are computer professionals involved in designing, implementation, and troubleshooting of computer networks.
DBA: DBA or Database Administrator
are the professionals who are bestowed with the job to design, implement, maintain, and repair an organization's database. Inter alia DBA professionals are also known as Database Coordinator or Database Programmer in IT sector.
Computer Engineering Graduates find job opportunities in a variety of industries. Bulk recruitment is always done by IT & Cs companies.
The Software and IT companies are the only sector which provide air conditioned environment to their employees and sky is the limit for deserving students in terms of salary and career opportunity. There are many software Companies which provide opportunities to their employees to work in foreign countries. Such offers are almost remote in other branches. Moreover they offer the best package to the young & brilliant graduates which are unmatched with other branches of engineering profession.
